SARLO CORPORATION CONFIRMS CONTINUED OPERATIONS AND
COMMITMENT TO CARRYING FORWARD FOUNDER LOU SARLO SR.’S LEGACY

GLOUCESTER CITY, NEW JERSEY: AUGUST 7, 2026

SARLO Corporation was saddened to learn of the passing of their founder, Lou Sarlo Sr, who formed the company in 1979. Lou Sr.’s work and lifelong dedication to his customers, vendors, and employees has shaped SARLO into what it is today. As the company supports the Sarlo family through this devastating loss, they also work to carry on their founder’s legacy, continuing operations and being present for their clients.

“With the loss of a longtime leader comes the promise of a great legacy, and that is especially true of Lou,” said Ronald Patterson, CFO and President of SARLO Corporation. “We plan to carry that legacy forward with the same guarantee and commitment he strived for.”

First founded as Sarlo Certified Welding, the company grew over time due to their reputation for craftsmanship and dependability, rebranding in 1985 as SARLO Corporation. Today, SARLO serves a diverse range of industries, including petroleum, retail, and financial, among others. Their evolution has been driven by a deep understanding of what their clients need and their commitment to delivering comprehensive, end-to-end project execution. SARLO Corporation works to meet the highest standards for their clients, first cemented by their founder nearly fifty years ago. Their team has continued to emphasize that SARLO’s mission is more than their canopies; it is also about their character.

A devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, proud brother, loyal friend, and respected entrepreneur, his greatest accomplishment was the love he gave to his family and everyone fortunate enough to know him. Lou leaves behind a legacy of honor, compassion, and character that will live on in all who loved him. He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved. May he rest in eternal peace.
